Where the Sky Meets the Earth brings together sculptural ceramics that explore the relationship between the elemental and the imagined, the tangible and the intangible. Rooted in the earth and transformed through the interplay of water, air and fire, clay becomes a medium for expressing landscape, memory, nature and transformation. Through form, texture and surface, the artists evoke a dialogue between solidity and lightness, permanence and change, the terrestrial and the celestial. The exhibition invites viewers to look beyond ceramics as an object of craft and discover its potential as a sculptural language that conveys emotion, imagination and the elemental forces that connect all life.

Where the Sky Meets the Earth brings together sculptural ceramics that explore the meeting point between the elemental and the imagined, where earth-bound material reaches towards the vastness of the sky. Ceramics, born from the earth, become a vehicle for contemplating landscape, memory, nature and transformation. Through the language of three-dimensional form, clay becomes a medium for expressing the meeting of earth and sky, nature and imagination, materiality and spirit.

The works move between solidity and lightness, permanence and change, reflecting the continuous dialogue between the grounded and the infinite. Through form, texture, surface and firing, artists evoke landscape and organic growth as well as states of being. Ceramics becomes particularly evocative within this theme: earth is shaped by the hand, transformed by fire and marked by the unpredictable forces of heat, atmosphere and time. Each sculpture therefore carries within it a meeting of elements—earth, water, air and fire.

The exhibition is ultimately a space of transition: a threshold where the tangible meets the intangible, the terrestrial opens into the celestial and the physical world becomes a metaphor for imagination, aspiration and connection. Together, the works invite viewers to consider ceramics not simply as an object of craft, but as a sculptural language capable of conveying memory, emotion, landscape and the elemental forces that connect all life.
