How do I find the real ‘Me'? Here’s a sequel to Aesop’s well-known fable, The Tortoise and the Rabbit that invites you to
reflect on this question.
Does it matter if you are a bit slow? Or if you have failed once? How do we turn failure into an opportunity to learn and grow?
And how do we handle success without it getting to our head? Let the tortoise be a tortoise, the rabbit a rabbit and let us
cherish both their attributes as two sides of a coin, defining the glorious journey of life.

InKo Centre, in association with local partners, has consistently presented high quality productions for children from 2010 to 2024 across a vibrant circuit in South India. Apart from a connect online during the pandemic, all our shows have been in physical spaces with productions that are sparsely verbal and wholly visual and aural treats!
We believe that children are the citizens of tomorrow and that early exposure to wholesome artistic expression creates an eco-system that helps foster creative ideas, communication and co-existence.
Our focus has been to present exceptional performances from Korea across a South India circuit with an aim to connect meaningfully with a large network of school children, their parents and teachers. All our productions aimed to focus on what was unique in Korean theatre, to examine how traditional technique and training continue to have contemporary relevance and to present messages that are universal and timeless.
While presenting interesting and innovative examples of Children's theatre productions from Korea, we look out for opportunities to research and develop new, vibrant Indo-Korean collaborative theatre productions for children.
Here’s a snapshot of what we have presented over the years, with support from valued partners in India:

The exhibition “Beyond Boundaries” seeks to explore personal limits and dissolve the boundaries between the inner self and the external world through a diverse range of styles and media.
The first artwork powerfully conveys the idea of presenting luxury goods to historical figures, highlighting both the irony of modern consumer culture and the contemporary meaning of personal identity. (Bad Boss)
The second artwork, featuring a figure viewed from behind gazing at the sky, represents the intersection of reality and ideals, of the inner and outer worlds, prompting philosophical reflection. (Roda)
The third piece illustrates a variety of emotional states through vibrant colours and free brushstrokes, evoking deep psychological empathy from the viewer. (Ariel)
The fourth work, with its abstract composition and intense colour palette, visually conveys the eruption and expansion of inner emotions. (Park Ju Hee)
The fifth piece symbolically connects nature and spirit, roots and growth, guiding viewers toward deep reflection on inner peace and spiritual development. (Gilme)
Through this exhibition, we hope that visitors will experience a new way of engaging with the outside world by transcending their own internal boundaries.
- Bad Boss.
Bad Boss was born in 1979 in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, he completed his elementary, middle, and high school in Jinju, and graduated from Chung-Ang University with a major in Composition from the School of Music. However, upon entering middle school, he was inspired by Michael Jackson and Seo Taiji, which led him to shift his career path from visual art to music.

As a K-POP idol and music producer, Roda pours her utmost effort into her work. Amid the immense pressure that she embraces with her whole being, her way of escape and healing has been through painting — a process where she can fully entrust herself to the direction and intensity of her inner self.

With her distinctive personality, actress Han Eun-seon , known for the expressive faces in her art-work, embraces the nature of acting—a profession defined by constant waiting—while also finding joy in other aspects of life as a painter and barista.
Han Eun-seon's works evoke a sense of mystery, as if witnessing the birth of the universe itself, when encountering the spontaneous strokes and abstract forms that she creates. She describes this as a state of zero gravity brimming with all possibilities—a state that she calls “doodles.”
Like the poem that says, “You must look long and closely to see its beauty,” the moment time and space are granted form, what once seemed meaningless lines begin to form emotions and take shape, coming together into a powerful collective energy. This energy possesses the strength to draw meaning like fish being caught—sometimes with a harpoon, sharp and precise; other times with a net, delicate and intricate. When the doodles of diverse individuals gathered in the same space begin to link, what was once meaningless becomes meaningful, forming solidarity and strength.
There is power in doodling. It holds a unique ability. Through the process of these discarded scribbles coming together as completed works, Han hopes that we come to believe- without doubt- that we, too, are precious beings who inspire one another in our shared journey of life.

Alongside her music career, Park Joo-hee has discovered another side of her inner self through painting, expresses the newly awakened voice within through her artwork.
Her piece “Vibration” captures the waves of her inner emotions on canvas, while “Resonance” portrays not solitary tremors, but a shared, collective echo. With its striking colour combinations and masterful use of light, her work won the Grand Prize at the Gustav Klimt Awards—an accolade bearing the name of the “Painter of Light and Love”.
In fact, Park Joo-hee never sought to make her mark solely through a single hit song. From early on, she has continuously reflected on why humans are born into the world and what it means to live. Her personal answer: “Life is the process of discovering one’s identity.”
She chose music as her path to self-discovery, hoping to share that journey with her fans and, in doing so, offer a small source of strength to others as well. Since her debut with her first album “Lucky” in 2001, the unwavering path she has walked for 23 years has now taken form on canvas through “Vibration” and “Resonance.” These works confirm the authenticity of artist Park Joo-hee, who transcends boundaries between music and visual art through sincere, multidis-ciplinary expression.

Gilme, who portrays the cycles of life and death and the consciousness of various entities layered upon space and time, continues her vibrant career as an art-tainer (art + entertainer).
"The proactive activities of art-tainers should serve as a driving force that allows us to reflect on 'the era and myself' from a pure perspective in the world of 'main characters and side characters' we now live in. In a way, art-tainers can be seen as self-portraits of our time."
"The purpose of this exhibition is to promote coexistence through art as a positive contribution to contemporary society. The activities of art-tainers, who exist as a new entity separate from the traditional art world, will function more positively when understood as a new group that delivers social messages with a more approachable influence on the solid art market," she said.
